History of JMR Studio Indianapolis West-Side

JMR Studio (meaning: Jon's Multi-TRACK Recording Studio) began a Idea, a Thought and now a Reality. Founder  J R Wilson developed this idea slowly, at first, while holding full-time jobs as Computer Technician for two different companies. But soon JMR Studio products and services were in such demand that JR started advertising to the public. Many years of self-training allowed Mr. Wilson to develop a cutting edge mix-down technique through trial and error. He began recording in 1978 just two years after high school, believe it or not using two stereo cassette deck, amazingly enough the master mixed downs were that of a multi-track mix-down. Wilson didn't stop there he dreamed of some day owning a full recording studio like JMR, as you can see his dreams came true and now he's doing it! It takes a trained ear to truly record and mix down different types of music (ex: Soul (R&B), Rap, Jazz, Country & Rock.  JMR is using state-of-the-art recording equipment, you have the choice of Analog and or digital audio recording, many ask why I still support analog, well in the real world analog has a better punch then the new age digital, so you have two choices. After over 20 years of do just that he has the training and ability to make you a STAR! through your music, or maybe you just want to promote your group. But why? analog.. with analog technology, you have to understand that a digital recording is a "Representation of Analog", that is to say analog is the original. When you speak you don't speak in digital, you speak in analog, right?. When a trumpet player plays it is analog sound. Nothing sounds more natural then "well recorded analog performance", which is what  we offer here at JMR Studio. No in the end when don't hand you a tape, you will receive a CD with quality far beyond any CD you have ever heard before. JR had dream and he knows you to have dreams also, let JMR Studio's help you to fulfill your dream through your talent, for as we all know "Everyone's a Star here at JMR".
